Raised & Flat Panel Interior
We offer several styles of interior solid shutters in both raised and flat panel designs. Our signature raised and flat panel style, Beacon Hill, has pleasing proportions of horizontals (top, bottom and cross rails) and verticals (stiles). Its 1" wide bevel allows for a typical 4 across configuration for even the narrowest of windows.
Colonial Shutterworks offers a wide variety of styles of 3/4" thick raised panel interior shutters with the ability to truly customize most any configuration. Raised and flat panel styles feature our signature Beacon Hill and include Classic Colonial, Molded, Shaker, Beadboard and Fabric Insert. All of our raised and flat panel styles can be ordered in most any wood but come standard in basswood, a domestically grown hard wood. Basswood is the interior shutter wood of choice for its straight and tight grain, uniformity, and resistance to shrinkage and contraction. We fabricate our custom sized shutters to the specifications of your shutter project. We are ready to do as much or as little of the project as fits your comfort level. We offer a full range of service from manufacture and mortise hinging of your shutters, to priming and finish painting right here in our shop. If you are more of a do-it-yourself person, we offer the level of completion that fits your needs. If you need a professional installation, we provide that service for our local customers.
